Among the series, “Fiber Locs” is a special line constructed from hand-compressed wool elements, giving the work a stronger three-dimensional presence. Layers of cascading strands and irregular sculptural bundles create an organic presence, almost like a living creature. Unlike ordinary yarn, each strand is individually compressed and shaped by hand, resulting in a unique texture with distinctive density and shadow. The impression changes depending on how it is worn and how the strands fall, revealing completely different expressions from the front, side, and back. By attaching the additional part “侵食体｜Extension Parts,” the length and density can be expanded further, deepening the world and silhouette of the piece.
